Here Franklin is shown giving a check to club president, Danny Lyle.
In December 2008, Tyler Shatley of East Burke High School was given the opportunity to play in the annual North Carolina/South Carolina Shrine Bowl football game. During the week of practice, he had the privilege of visiting the Shriner's Children's Hospital with his other teammates. This visit inspired him to raise money for the hospital through his senior project. As part of his project he conducted a mini-football camp for ages 5-13. The camp taught the basics of football, organized a tag football game and showed a football highlight film for those in attendance. Donations were collected durring this camp to benefit the Shriner's Hospitals.

Winners must claim their prize within 14 days of notification from the EBSC. Failure to claim prize within 14 days of notification will result in forfeiture of prize.

Prize winners shall assume all fees, local, state,and federal taxes. Such fees may include, but are not limited to: income taxes based on value of prize, insurance, tag or title fees.

Entrants release East Burke Shrine Club (EBSC), it's members, volunteers, and representative agents from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession of the prize.
